Mission Statement

Yukon, North of Ordinary magazine has a growing paid and controlled distribution network:

• the magazine is available for free to over 100,000 Air North
  passengers each year;
• it's sold at Chapters and Indigo bookstores, and other retailers
  across Canada;
• Presse Commerce distributes more than 5,250 magazines
  nationally through its Waiting Room Program.

The magazine is sold at a number of retail outlets in the Yukon. Complimentary copies are mailed to 1,200 businesses across the territory, and Yukon hotels from Watson Lake to Dawson City are given 1,500 magazines for their guests.

Harper Street Publishing

Yukon, North of Ordinary is published by Harper Street Publishing in Carcross, Yukon, which has been publishing quality magazines in the territory since 1994.

Harper Street Publishing is committed to publishing a quality magazine about the Yukon's people, places, culture and history on a national and international basis. We will do this by increasing our press runs and distribution as much as possible over time and building a website that is valuable in content.
